The inspiration for the Club came from a concern that Christ was missing in our work day. Not only was He missing but we weren’t taking the time to share him with our co workers. The people in churches are saved, but there is a harvest in the marketplace and laborers are few. We need to find appropriate ways to reach these people. Through the club we build Christians up to withstand the pressures of working in a secular world also empowering them to have the courage to make a statement for Christ. We believe that living our lives according to biblical principles will make us stand out in a crowd. We lead by example, drawing people to us by our actions not our words

Dawn received her diploma in business administration specializing in sales and marketing in 1995. Dawn also is a successful free lance motivational and inspirational speaker. The focus of her presentations is on communication and the lost art of customer service. She speaks across Canada in businesses and churches. Dawn holds a retreat for mothers and daughters called The Right to Wear White, teaching them how to guard the gift of purity for marriage.
Together Dawn and Terry facilitate the Christ Centered Professionals Club, which Dawn founded in 2003. The goal of the club is to bring Christ back into the marketplace through teaching, mentoring and supporting Christians in business. Terry and Dawn’s mission is to help build connections throughout the Christian community so that the Kingdom of God would grow and be strengthened.

Terry graduated from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Theological Seminary in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1974.
Terry joined The Shepherd’s Guide in 1988. He opened the first Canadian Shepherd’s Guide in Central Alberta that same year. He currently publishes The Shepherd’s Guide for the Greater Edmonton area. He has developed The Shepherd’s Guide in ten additional Canadian cities since joining the organization. Terry and Dawn oversee the Canadian operations of The Shepherd’s Guide.
